Jobless? Stay Active, Stay Sharp, and Land Your Next Big Opportunity! Losing a job is tough—I know because I’ve been through it three times. Sept 2009 – March 2010: When I finally found a job, I had to borrow money to buy my flight ticket. Ironically, I was employing five young professionals at that time. Aug 2014 – May 2015: Again, I had to use a credit card to afford my ticket when I secured a job. I was still employing six young people. Feb 2024 – June 2024: This time, financial issues weren’t a concern. I had a small office, worked on multiple projects, read, wrote, and networked extensively.
