The headline may give you a shock but read further... If you ask any person above the age of 45, they will agree. Before 25-30 years, there was no such qualification like MBA in India. It appeared overnight and presented as magic word. 6-digit starting salary (at that time, can you believe it??) And then MBA-rush started. So many colleges suddenly appeared. People stopped doing BA / BCom / BSc and started doing BBAs and than MBAs. Even some who have done OR doing those courses, would not come to job-market and would spend 2-3 more years for doing MBA. The same thing has been done in Engineering too. Jobs are there. But now the people are over-qualified. At least, they think they are.
